Principle Function

Provide overall leadership in the Church in terms of spiritual growth of its members, strategic planning in church development and inter-church coordination for the purpose of advancing the Kingdom of God.

Qualifications for Position

Professional

• Seminary graduate with Master of Divinity degree or equivalent, adhering to Christian theology.
• Experience in leading church ministries required.
•Previous pastoral experience preferred.
• Strong commitment to Evangelism and Biblical models for parenting and marriage.

Personal

• Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, and meditation.
• Maintain spiritual leadership and proper priorities at home.
• Maintain a visible commitment to church spiritual growth and Evangelism, self-motivated and goal orientated, with good interpersonal skills.
• Maintain stewardship measure over personal finance.


Specific Duties

• Participate in CCCNE Council as a member of the Elders board.
• Support the vision and goals of the CCCNE Council, clearly develop, chart and communicate goals for his areas of responsibility.
• Provide individual and family-focused pastoral care, visitation, and counseling.
• Participate regularly in preaching and teaching.
• Conduct baptisms and marriages.
• Conduct pre-marital, marriage, and crisis counseling.
• Offer training courses, seminars and other educational opportunities.

Compensation

• As agreed upon by the CCCNE council.
